How do I know if a session is cancelled due to wet weather or other circumstances?

All cancellations made by Malpass Tennis will be sent out as a text message a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the lesson. If no correspondence is received then the lesson will go ahead as scheduled.

What happens if it rains during the middle of a session?

The lesson will continue to go ahead if the conditions are safe. If the conditions become unsuitable to continue, the remaining time will be made up at a later date as a make up session. If scheduling allows the remaining time may be added onto an existing sessions as opposed to a make up session.

If a session is cancelled, will there be a make up session?

Yes, make up sessions will be held on the Sundays of week 5 and week 10 of every term. If a session has been cancelled, please send an email to info@malpasstennis.com.au to book in for a make up session.

When am I valid to book in for a make up session?

If Malpass Tennis has cancelled the session or if you are unable to attend a session and have provided us with at least 24 hours notice, you will be able to book in for a make up session. If we receive no communication in regards to not attending a session, we will be unable to offer a make up session.

How do I ensure I keep my spot for the next terms coaching?

You don’t have to do anything! Your lesson time will remain exactly the same from term to term. If there are any changes to the timing of your class or who will be instructing the class you will be notified via email.

What if I would like to change my lesson time or cancel my lessons permanently?

If you would like to change your lesson time mid-term or at the start of a new term, you will need to contact us via phone or email. From there we will be able to provide you with other possible lesson times that will meet your requirements. If you wish to cancel your lessons permanently you will also need to contact us via phone or email with at least 7 days noticed prior to the date you wish to cancel.

If you would like to permanently cancel your lessons during the middle of a term, no refund will be offered,  your remaining lessons will be held as credit to be used towards court hire or further coaching at a later date.

If I am unable to make a session, what is the Malpass Tennis cancellation policy?

If you are unable to make a session we require as much notice as possible if you would like to be eligible for a make up session. If no notice is provided for unattended sessions we will be unable to book you in for a make up session.

If you are unable to attend a series of lessons due to an injury or other unforeseen circumstances, your remaining lessons will be held as credits for when you are ready to return to the court.

If I book and pay for a tennis court online and am unable to make it, will I forfeit my payment?

No, as long as you notify us at least 4 hours prior to the time of your booking, we will be able to move your booking to another time that will better suit your needs.

If wet weather results in the courts being unplayable, your court hire will be held as credit for you to use at another time.

Is it possible to make a recurring booking if I wish to play at the same time each week?

Yes, if you would like to make a recurring booking you can contact us via phone or email and a staff member will be able to assist you in setting up your booking.

What are my payment options for Coaching and other services?

We have a number of payment options for court hire. These include booking and paying online, or booking onsite or via the phone and paying via cash or credit card. For all regular coaching programs you will receive term by term invoicing via email. If you prefer to pay on a fortnightly basis, we can set up a direct debit payment for your sessions. If you prefer a direct debit style system we require 14 days notice if you wish to cancel you sessions.
